Margaret A. “Peggy” Chandler, 66, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital, Port Charlotte.
She was born November 15, 1947 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to the late George and Barbara Bostic. Peggy was a former flight attendant for National Airlines and Pan American Airlines. She loved animals and owned and operated Feline Finesse, a cat sitting service in Miami-Dade County before moving to Port Charlotte with her husband Ken 18 years ago. She loved to deep sea fish, hunt and ride in her husband’s airboat. She was an expert marksman and enjoyed target shooting. Some of her best friends were Colt, Smith & Wesson and Ruger.
Survived by her loving family, husband of 30 years, Kenneth Chandler of Port Charlotte; a brother, Tom (Shelia) Bostic of Clearwater, FL; a cousin, Donna Shissler of Palm Coast, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 5, 2014 from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM.
