Born Margaret Louise Gillis on April 1, 1941 in Panama City, Florida, Louise who owned and operated a local Charlotte County Bed and Breakfast Inn, moved to Port Charlotte from Salina, Kansas in 1987. She was an Auxiliary member of the Charlotte Harbor Chapter of Military Officers Association of America and Auxiliary Chairperson; the Executive Network of Charlotte County, Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club, and Florida Rolls Royce Owners Association.
Louise is survived by her husband Robert Dickinson; two sons, Grover Lee Phillips of Port Charlotte, and Gary Lee Phillips of St. Louis, MO; a granddaughter, Ellie Rose Phillips; two brothers, Allen Hugh Gillis and Bert Gillis, both of AL; and a sister, Barbara Ann Flowers of AL.
