Margaret Marie (Fahey) Thielemann, 80, of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away Friday, June 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Margaret was born on December 31, 1945, in Wilmington, Delaware and moved to Florida in 2016. The daughter of the late Dorothy (Tolmie) Fahey and Andrew F. Fahey and brother, E. Michael (Mike) Fahey and Sister, Nancy Fluharty. Margaret also known as Margee graduated from Saint Elizabeth High School in Wilmington, Delaware and was employed with Macy’s Christiana Mall (Newark, Delaware) for 33 years retiring in 2015. Margee loved to work with her many Macy’s customers and always strived to meet their fashion needs. Margee loved the beaches in New Jersey (Especially Cape May) and to Play tennis and travel. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her two daughters and her three grandsons and her entire family. Christmas was her very special holiday each year and decorating the Christmas tree was her special pride.

Margee is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Paul Thielemann; 2 daughters, Deanna Marie (Ellis) Weiss of Coatesville, PA and Laurie Ann (Phil) Edwards of Bellmawr, NJ; three grandsons she loved and was so very proud of, Sam, Ben and Danny Weiss; a sister, Susan Thackeray of Port Charlotte, FL; a sister in law, Deborah Fahey of Delaware and 2 nieces and 2 nephews.

A memorial mass will be celebrated in Wilmington, Delaware at a future date and time with inurnment to follow by the family. Memorial contributions may be made to your local Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Association.

Our deepest sympathies to you Paul and your family. Margee owns a piece of our hearts. What a beautiful kind lady, she’s touched my mom as well.. We had some good times, each visit we had together. Paul, So sorry to hear about Margee. Barbara and I are both having issues with this is why we didn't see you in Florida this past winter. We will certainly be attending the planned service at St."E's in August. Meanwhile we are prayiny for you both and your families.

She was a great cousin and her generosity and style will be always appreciated. She hosted my bridal shower and I will never forget her laughing...along with many older wiser cousins when I opened a basket that had a calender and a thermometer in it.

She was someone who made a tremendous positive influence on me and who I became. I have always loved her and will miss her.

Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I was sad to hear the news of your wife (Paul) and mother (Deanna and Laurie). It was so nice to see her while we were growing up. She was my grandmother, and it was always so sweet to see her over the years. .I will be praying and thinking about all of you during this difficult time.
