It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Margaret “Penny” Mary Thibodeau, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, who passed away peacefully at home in Punta Gorda, Florida on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the age of 80.

Penny was a shining light for all who knew her. She was known for her unwavering love, kindness and compassion. She touched countless lives with her generosity and goodwill. She was a pillar of strength in her family and the bond that held everyone together. Penny was dedicated to giving back to the community through her charitable giving’s, teachings of faith and God to the youth, and feeding the hungry. She always had an abundance of hugs and prayers to give to anyone in need.

Survived by her loving husband, William Andre Thibodeau of Punta Gorda, FL; and her three children, Kevin Thibodeau of Manchester, NH, Kelly Thibodeau-Bennett of Derry, NH and Cheryl Thibodeau of Chester, NH; and cherished grandchildren, Karina Thibodeau of Pelham, NH and Nathan Thibodeau of Chester, NH.  She was preceded in death by loving parents, Michael A. Ryan and Margaret McNamara, and her youngest son, Wayne P. Thibodeau.

Penny was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Punta Gorda where a memorial mass celebrating her life will be held at a later date.
