Marian was born January 21, 1957 to Scott and Virginia Stepp in Gainesville, Florida and came to Punta Gorda, FL in 1968 from St. Augustine, FL. Marian graduated from Charlotte High School in 1975. After traveling to California and Nevada, she returned to Charlotte County in 1982 where she met her husband, Charles Daneko. Charles and Marian were married on December 18, 1982. They both traveled around the world while he was in the Navy, settling in Charlotte County in 1999. While living in Colonial Heights, VA, Marian received her Associates Degree in Legal Assistant in 1993. She was the law librarian at the Chesterfield County Law Library in Chesterfield, VA. When she was back in Charlotte County, She received her real estate license and worked for Century 21 until she was unable to work anymore due to her cancer treatments. Marian’s warm smile and kind heart will be forever missed by all who loved and knew her.

Survivors include her loving husband of 28 years, Charles J. Daneko; her son, Jared Mathews of North Port, FL; a daughter, Leah Daneko of Port Charlotte; 2 brothers, Ed Stepp of North Port, FL and Scott Stepp of Punta Gorda, FL; 3 sisters, Suzanne Livingston of Grayton Beach, FL, Loralee Morrow of Tampa, FL and Patience Stepp of Wainsville, NC.
