Marie Madeline Sardella, age 83, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Tidewell Hospice House of Port Charlotte.
Cancer took her from us quickly and unexpectedly, but brought her home to her beloved Heavenly Father whom she served and adored her entire life.
She is preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Alfred Sardella, and parents Stephen and Catherine Bosco. She leaves behind her son Daniel Sardella of Port Charlotte; two sisters, Jean Canosa of Lakeland, Ellen Mallamo of Sun City Center, and brother Steven Bosco of Tampa; nieces Gail Morgan, Marie Elena Winkler, Jakki Bosco and Kristine O’Brian, and nephews Robert Canosa and Robert Mallamo.
Marie was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on October 4th, 1927, and later moved to Long Island, N.Y. in 1955. She was a faithful member of Massapequa Tabernacle for many years. Marie moved to Port Charlotte, Florida in 1980 where she lived happily for the remainder of her life. Always involved in her Church, Marie touched many children’s lives as a Sunday School teacher, and she loved teaching and attending Bible studies.
She loved the Lord, and faithfully served Him daily both in the Church and in her life. She was a proud member of the Faithlife Church family, formerly Maranatha Fellowship, in Port Charlotte, since its inception on the lanai of her home in 2002. Marie touched the lives of many, and was a witness to all.
