I had the privilege of meeting Marilyn when she lived in Syracuse with Irene, her daughter. She loved being near Irene; it gave her such comfort knowing Irene and David were there whenever she needed them, and I might add, they visited her daily because they loved her. They took her lg print books, and shared Saturday evenings watching the Lawrence Welk show, decorated for her and others in the Nursing Home on every Holiday. She loved both Irene and David so much, and they loved her. She spoke to me of the blessing they were to her. In her passing both were at her side, comforting, holding her as she made that transition. Marilyn will be missed terribly, but her love for her family will live on, and In those saddest of times will cradle them as they did her. A great lady, for sure.

I would like to express my condolences to you. There will come a time when death and mourning will be no more. (Revelation 21:3,4) This is what our loving God, Jehovah, has promised. We also have the hope of seeing our loved ones again. (John 5:28,29) May those verses bring you some comfort in your time of mourning.
