Mark Millar, 66, of North Port, Florida passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Mark was born to Andrew and Florence Millar on April 27, 1957 in England. Mark was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran who served proudly during Desert Storm. He was a Tactical Aircraft Mechanic for most of his military life. Mark was a huge fan of NASCAR and his Washington Commanders NFL team. He enjoyed shopping at Walmart and Home Depot. Mark loved to BBQ, boating and fishing but most of all spending most of his time with family and friends. He was known to many as Mr. Fix It. Anyone needed help with something, he was always there to help. Mark was a genuine guy who loved life to the fullest. He will be missed dearly by all who loved and knew him.
Survivors include his loving wife of 15 years, Janet Arbogast; his daughter, Allison Paige Gleason of Florence, SC and stepdaughters, Michelle Charbonneau and Genevieve Smith both of North Port; his stepsons, Edward Arbogast, Jr. of Patchogue, NY and Jason Arbogast of Newark, NJ; and his step grandchildren, Aiden, Brandon, Hayley, Kylie, Erica and Preston.
A visitation will be held 10:00AM-11:00AM followed by a Scripture Service at 11:00AM, Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Interment will follow at Sarasota National Cemetery at 1:30PM with full Military Honors by a U.S Air Force Honor Guard.
Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel.
