The past 25 years she lived in Port Charlotte, FL with her husband Joe and made many friendships at the Italian clubs where she belonged and the Elks and Moose lodges. Mary made wonderful friendships everywhere she went and ruled with a wooden spoon by sharing her great capacity for love, especially through the meals she would make for family and friends. Every occasion she would make wonderful meals however Easter and Christmas she gathered her family to prepare special meals and give thanks and praise to our Heavenly God. A mother and grandmother; she was a very caring and loving matriarch with a spontaneous, easy, and flexible style for life. She enjoyed traveling and loved simple things. In her last years she enjoyed watching the birds and animals and feeding and encouraging them to come to her back patio where she would sit and enjoy the day gratefully with family and friends. She will always be loved, cherished, and missed greatly by all who loved and knew her, and she wanted us all to know she would be watching us!
