She was born August 16, 1918 in Clarkesville, Tennessee to the late Raymond and Hilda Grimes. In 1950 she married Lt. Colonel Vance Hill. For the next 12 years they were stationed in Italy, Germany and the Western United States. When he retired in 1962 they moved to Harbor Heights, Florida. Mrs. Hill was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Punta Gorda and former Sunday School teacher, a past President of the Harbor Heights Garden Club and a former member of the Harbor Heights Civic Association.
Survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Vance V. Hill, III and Linda Hill of Hastings, Michigan. Preceded in death by her husband Vance and a daughter, Inge Joyce.
