Mary L Daffron, 93 of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024.
Mary was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on October 31,1930. Mary was a retired X-ray Technician and CT Scan Technician for many years. During her long career she worked at the V. A. Hospital in Washington D. C., the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, and in Port Charlotte at Inter-Medic and retired from Fawcett Memorial Hospital.
Mary enjoyed traveling, plays, movies, and reading. Mary was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be greatly missed.
She is survived by daughter, Judith Wright, son David Higginbotham, and daughter-in-law Linda Higginbotham; Grandchildren, Gwen Jackson, Christina Wells (David), Thomas Higginbotham, Scott Higginbotham, Alexis Higginbotham, and Jennifer Wisham (Mike), and Great grandchildren, Huck Wells and Hazel Wells. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Robert Daffron, son Scott Higginbotham, and daughter Marcelle Higginbotham.
Mary will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Robert Daffron, at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia. Services will be at a future date.
