Ron and Phyllis Cousineau left a message on December 28, 2023:
Jim, Phyllis and I want you to know that our hearts go out to you at the tremendous loss you certainly are experiencing with the passing of Mary, your lifelong partner and dearest friend. We both remember you fondly from our days together at Trinity and our residencies on Caloosa Palms Court in Sun City Center. Mary especially had a unique quality of reflecting the love and joy of Christ in our every experience with her. To hear that Steve Green was your son-in-law made knowing you guys that much more memorable! I'll always remember you graciously introducing Phyllis and me to him at your home. Jim, Marijean and Steve, Jim and Shirley, Patti and Steve, and all of the "grands," you all have experienced the blessings of knowing Mary firsthand. You've seen His grace at work in her life, and you've witnessed personally His remarkable transformation only He can work through our mortal lives as we walk with Him, as Mary most certainly did. As the writer of Hebrews would truly say about Mary, "Consider the outcome of [her] way of life and imitate [her] faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever" (13:7b-8). Be blessed and comforted in our Lord, knowing our reunion with those who have passed before us is at hand. He's standing at the door . . .
Mary Etta Darden left a message on December 24, 2023:
I have known Mary since 1989 when she helped us find our home in Valrico. We have been close friends every since. I will miss our time together and phone calls. She was the most positive person I have ever met and was always trusting in her Lord and Savior. She loved her entire family very much. I will miss her but have wonderful memories of beautiful Mary.
Gail Elrod left a message on December 24, 2023:
I was so saddened to read about Mary. She has always been a mentor and example for Jerry and me. What a lady! She called for a long chat when my Jerry moved to heaven. Heaven gets sweeter by the day ! Love to her family. Gail Elrod.
