She was born July 4, 1912 in Richmond, Missouri and moved to Port Charlotte
in 1968 from Prairie Village, Kansas. She was a retired secretary for the former
Barnett Bank in Port Charlotte which became Bank of America. Fran was a member
of the First Presbyterian Church of Port Charlotte and was active in the Kansas and
Missouri Clubs of Port Charlotte for many years.
She is survived by a son, Roger L. Morphew of Divide, CO; two nieces,
Gail Roman of Granada Hills, CA and Carol Blaesing of Quincy, IL; a nephew,
James Nichols of Camp Point, IL; 5 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Morphew.
