Mary Louise Sheffer, 88, of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away peacefully on Monday, April 15, 2013 at Life Care Center in Sarasota, Florida.

Mary was born July 21, 1924 in Morganfield, Kentucky to James Egli and Ellen Allen aka. Nell Duncan. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for most of her life praising our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Survivors include her son, James W. (Linda) Sheffer; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving daughter, Mary Allen Roush and her dear husband, Harlan Sheffer.

Visitation will be held 6:00PM-8:00PM, Friday, April 26, 2013 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Funeral Service will be held 11:00AM, Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Charlotte Harbor Trinity United Methodist Church, 23084 Seneca Ave. Port Charlotte, FL 33980. Interment will follow at Charlotte Harbor Cemetery in Port Charlotte, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Charlotte Harbor Trinity United Methodist Church.

Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel.
