Mavis V. Moore, 94, of Port Charlotte, Florida died May 16, 2020 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte.
She was born April 18, 1926 in Jamaica to the late David Jackson and Berta Miller Jackson. Mavis moved to Port Charlotte in 2003 from Westchester, New York. She was a retired Registered Nurse and a member of the Port Charlotte Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
She is survived by her loving family, a son Glenn White of Port Charlotte; a sister, Beryl Hyatt of England; and a brother, John Ricketts of Jamaica; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death her husband, Kenneth Moore who died in 2010.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Roberson Funeral Home Chapel, 2151 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, Florida 33948. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte.
