Michael was born February 4, 1958 in Fort Benning, Georgia and moved to Port Charlotte 10 years ago from New Cumberland, PA. He was the manager of the bakery store for Publix Supermarket in Cape Haze, FL. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend and will be missed dearly by all who loved and knew him.

Survivors include his loving wife, Melanie K. Patrick; 3 sons, Matthew-Michael Patrick of Portland, OR, Joshua-James O. Patrick of Tampa, FL and Shawn-Paul A. Patrick of Gainesville, FL; 1 daughter, Sarah-Lyn E. Patrick of Tampa, FL; and 1 sister, Debbie (Steven) Zies of Hagerstown, MD; and his in laws, Carl and Rose Deck of Port Charlotte, FL.

The few days I worked with him were a pleasure, and his passing came as a shock to all, associates and customers.
