Graveside services will be held Tuesday 11:00 AM, April 2, 2024, at the Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, Florida where she will be laid to rest with her husband Calhoun Hunter Young, Jr., a U.S. Navy veteran who died in 2018.

Micki Young, 78, of Punta Gorda, Florida died Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte, Florida

Micki was born May 16, 1945, in Hardee County, Florida to the late Ossie and Pauline (Wingate) Marlow.  She was a graduate of Manatee High School, Bradenton, Florida. Micki was a Baptist and lived in Florida all her life. She was a bookkeeper for the Farr Law Firm in Punta Gorda for many years before she retired.

Survived by her loving family, a daughter, Leah M. Marcum of Punta Gorda; a stepson, Jeffery Hunter (Diane) Young of Port Charlotte; and four grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday 11:00 AM, April 2, 2024, at the Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, Florida where she will be laid to rest with her husband Calhoun Hunter Young, Jr., a U.S. Navy veteran who died in 2018.
