Mildred S. Notice, 90, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 at her home in Port Charlotte. Mildred was born to Charlie and Doris Johnson on June 26, 1931 in Costa Rica. Some of her good friends called her “Milie”, everyone else including her grandchildren & her children called her “grandma and all who knew her knew she was a hard working woman. She had a special way of rolling out the red carper to all who visited her; and for that we will always be grateful & her memory will live forever in our hearts… 💕. She raised 7 children on her own & taught us all to have common sense, common courtesy & respect for all as well as becoming a strong & independent human. She was a devout Christian woman who loved the lord and most of all her family. She will be missed very much by all who knew her.
Survivors include her loving children, her sons, Roberto Stewart of Snellville, GA, Harold Stewart of Costa Rica and Robert Notice of New York; 2 daughters, Margarita McBean and Lorna Stewart and 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rupert N. Notice.
Visitation will be held 1:00PM-2:00PM with a funeral service to follow at 2:00PM, Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Port Charlotte United Methodist Church in Port Charlotte. Entombment will follow to Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, FL.
