To the Guttag family, just reviewing things, and we stumbled across this. We remember great times with Al and Mina in Punta Gorda, and also Bart and Betsy both there and at Caroga Lake. We are the daughter and son-in-law of Pete and Helen Baker. Helen passed in 2001; Pete passed earlier this year. But we ALWAYS will remember the times we all had. We'll never forget your Mom and Dad ... I (Greg) always enjoyed his guidance, and we just have to let life roll on with our memories. Greg and Joan Caliri

Dear Arlene and Barton: I write this in Dec 2010 as just out of curiosity, I looked up your mom on the web. I was your neighbor when you both were very young, at 2132 Daly ave in the Bronx. I used to baby sit Arlene and she adored me like an older sister. Belated condolences for your loss. Your mother was a terrific person and a wonderful daughter to your grandma (Mrs. Kushner - as we called her out of respect) and your Dad who I notice you lost in 2002, was an admirable man. I note that Al wrote a book before his death. I hope you both are fine and are having happy healthy lives. I am married (second marriage) to a wonderful man and have 2 biological children, 2 bio grandkids, 2 stepkids and 5 stepgrandkids. I live in Washington, DC. Much love sent your way.

We knew Mina well and enjoyed our golfing days at PGCC until after H. Charlie when we loss contact with her. She was always a gracious and lovely lady and a good friend. So sad to know that she is no longer with us. God Bless and Shalom.

Dear Arlene and Barton, I knew your mother since we moved to Florida 21 years ago. She was a loyal member of Hadassah and part of our birthday lunch bunch. It was sad to see her go from an active, involved person to a recluse. We hope to be notified when there is a memorial service for her. We would also like to make a donation to Hadassah in her memory, but don't know to whom the notification should be sent. We will miss her! Joyce Greenwald
