She was born April 26, 1920 in Minsk, Russia to Aaron and Pearl Kushner and immigrated to the United States, New York City in 1924 and moved to New Milford, New Jersey in 1955. She was a retired bookkeeper and moved to Charlotte County in 1971 with her husband Alfred. Mina was an avid bridge player, golfer, and really enjoyed Broadway shows and the local theater. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed, but not forgotten. She was a long time member of Temple Shalom in Port Charlotte, Hadassah, American Theater Wing and founding member of Punta Gorda Civic Association.
Survived by a daughter, Arlene (George) Janis of Portland, OR; a son, Barton (Betsy) Guttag of Fort Myers; Four grandchildren, Alexa Pearson, Matthew Janis, Barbara Mallory and Beverly Guttag; three great grandchildren, Cedar, Kaila and Solson; Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alfred Guttag, brother, Bernard (Judith) Kushner.
