Morris was born November 8, 1936 in Atlanta, GA and moved to Port Charlotte in 2004 from High Falls, GA. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard. Morris was a man of countless skills and worked very hard to provide for his family. He was an avid fisherman and Gardener. He was a magnificent husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Joy Steele; his son, Morris Steele, Jr. of Bradenton, FL; a daughter, Norma Rogers of Port Charlotte; a sister, Peggy Crowder of North Port, FL; a grandson, Cary Brasher, Jr.; a granddaughter, Calie Brasher and several nieces and nephews.
