Muriel H. Johnson, age 98, formerly of Port Charlotte, Florida died peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2020 in Fort Myers, Florida…
She was born December 20, 1921 in Lancaster, England to the late Herbert and Sarah Hunt.
Muriel is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Hauser; four grandchildren, Sharon Tyrrell, Justin Hook, Tracy Mirra and Aubree Greus; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvid E. Johnson, daughter Nancy Hook and son-in-law Robert N. Hauser.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday 11:00 AM, August 7, 2020 at San Antonio Catholic Church, 2445 Rampart Blvd, Port Charlotte, FL 33980. Father Leo Riley will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Muriel’s life.
Private interment and committal services will be held later at North Haven Cemetery, North Haven, CT.

It saddens me to find out after the fact of this tragic loss. Muriel was an amazing mother and grandmother. Many wonderful memories and she will be missed dearly by me and my wife.
