Nellie was born September 9, 1914 in New Hartford, Connecticut. A retired key Punch operator for Industrial Risk Insurers in Hartford, Connecticut, Nellie moved to Port Charlotte from Simsbury, Connecticut in 1983. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Hesper Chapter in Simsbury.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Shands of Talbott, TN, Virginia (Don) Henthorn of Simi Valley, CA and Carolyn (Richard) Strelau of Port Charlotte; a sister, Evelyn Rosenberg of Jacksonville, FL; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest G. Eib, five sisters and two brothers.
