The perfect gentleman. Always a kind word for everyone. they broke the mold when they made you Uncle Nick. I can't say enough-youwere there for me my entire life. evenwhen we spoke on the phone a few days before you passed, you were so upbeat and positive about going home. I'm so glad I got to spend my 50th birthday with you. I wish mom and I had been over to visit more often. Much love. I think of you everyday. I'm smiling as I remember so many visits when I was a little girl. memories to share: When Teta passed away, I'll never forget how you handed me Yiayia's silver, and said your grandmother and aunt always meant this for you, and you handed me the box on my way back to Florida. I'll never forget how you took a ride my corvette and how proud you were of me with my first controllership. I remember when we went out to dinner, and i was still like a little girl to you, and you said to me, "Diane (you always called me that) you can order ANYTHING on the menu. Then how surprised when I paid the bill when you weren't looking. You made me feel so grown up. I recall the last time I saw you w? Mom &Chris, and we were going to dinner, and you picked 2 hibiscus flowers - one for me, one for mom. (you were ill, and just came home from the hospital, but still always the romantic) - how happy you were when you married Joan. your High School sweetheart later in life. You did the most amazing thing, and called my mom and asked her permission -so thoughtful and respectful. A movie should be made about missed letters while you served the armed forces. - dinners at Cracker Barrel and how you loved trout. - fishing off the canal. I- never forget the 3rd love of your life, Ellen, and how she was there everyday for you from the hospital to hospice - how you held her hand each time she came to visit. I'll never forget-you told mom about your special friend Ellen, and said, how special she is, but "no hanky panky" that sill makes me smile. I love you

We are sorry that we won't make it to Nicks Memorial, a previous appointment could not be broken. We will miss Nick very much, he was such a fine and gentle man. Our get-to-gathers here at Kings Gate will not be the same without him
