Mrs. Nora L. Wiedenman, 80, of North Port, Florida, passed away Sunday morning, February 15, 2009 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Born Nora Louise Peisino on November 22, 1928 in Wanamie, Pennsylvania, Nora, a retired Secretary for the University of Delaware, lived in Newark, Delaware until relocating briefly to North Carolina, then eventually North Port in 2002.
Nora is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, James L. Wiedenman; a daughter, Denise C. (husband Jeffrey) Butler of Punta Gorda, FL, and son, Erik (wife Susan) Wiedenman of Apex, NC; six grandchildren, Jessica (husband Michael) Nixon, Nathan (wife Jenelle) Clark, Sarah (husband David) Musgrove, Ryan, Megan and Erin Wiedenman; six great grandchildren, Connor Nixon, Nathan Clark, Jr., Aiden Musgrove, Haley and Fischer Clark, and Davis Musgrove; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John E. and Elizabeth Peisino, a brother, Ernest Peisino, and a son, Louis Wiedenman.
