Words cannot express the deep love and gratitude we share have for having had a long life with our exceptional, kind and loving father. This sentiment is shared by all our family and friends, who have already been communicating their expressions of love and condolence with us in many ways. We also look forward with joy to the days ahead with our Mom, Teri, who by the grace of God remains healthy, and here with us to live our lives on Earth to the fullest. Dad, we know this was your most important wish. You are still and will always be with us.

Norman and Teri included me into their extended family when I became good friends with Linda Francis. I always felt at home with them in Smith Mountain Lake, and was saddened to hear of Norm's illness and his untimely death. He and I shared a love of flying. He will be missed by all of those who were lucky to spend any time with him.

Dear Teri, Linda and Dave: What a great picture of Norm! Having spent time with him in his healthy and vibrant years, we are blessed to have the memory of him as he looked in that photo. Many happy memories come into our minds, memories at Smith Mountain Lake, sitting on the dock and laughing at T.C. Feeling like part of a big Italian family at that fabulous meal at Elaine and John's, floating around in the lake with our cocktails after dinner. Great memories and memories that will always endear Norm and you Teri and keep you close at heart. There are no circumstances that make losing a beloved person easier except the memories of the times they were with us and the gratitude for that time. Cynthia Horgan

I was very sad to learn that Norm has passed away. I knew Norm in the 1970s. In those days I called him Mr. Lorenzani. He was father to my childhood friend David Lorenzani. Norm took me and Dave water skiing, and flying in his club airplane. I was a welcome guest at his camp at Lake George. I sure miss those days. Rest in Peace Norm.
