Pasquale “Pat” DeStefanis, 87, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Tuesday,May 24, 2011.
He was born November 20, 1923 in Italy and moved to Port Charlotte in1968 from Columbus, Ohio. Pat was a retired painting contractor. He owned and
operated Pat DeStefanis Painting, Inc. in Port Charlotte. He was a veteran of World World II, U.S. Army and was a member of American Legion Post #110 of Port Charlotte. He attended the Faithlife Church of Port Charlotte.
He is survived by his loving family, his wife, Antonia DeStefanis of Port Charlotte;a daughter, Cathy (Harry) Culp of Prescott Valley, AZ; two sons, Michael (Gloria) DeStefanis and Vaughn (Carol) DeStefanis both of Port Charlotte; a step-daughter, Elaina Maniatis,
3 step-sons, Manuel, Jim and George Maniatis all of Florida; 11 grandchildren, 7 greatgrandchildren; and 2 great great granddaughters.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 3:00 PM, May 31, 2011 at the FaithLifeChurch, 21090 Iliade Ave., Port Charlotte, FL 33952. Pastor Rich Webb will officiate. Inurnment and military honors will be later in St. Joseph Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
