Patricia Joanne Criss, 87, of Punta Gorda, Florida died Saturday, October 19, 2024, at HCA Florida Hospital, Port Charlotte.

Patricia was born November 1, 1936, in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Hamilton and Ruth Irene (King) Irving. She moved to Port Charlotte, Florida with her family in 1991 from Rochester, Michigan. She was a member of the Port Charlotte United Methodist Church. Known as “Dee Dee” to family and friends, she was widely known and beloved in her community. She loved fashion, theater, food, and her family. Dee Dee was a living example of generosity and kindness.

Survived by two daughters, Dr. Cathy Criss of Port Charlotte, FL and Terrie Criss of Englewood, FL, her son-in-law, Dr. Michael Stampar and two grandsons, Christopher, and Nicholas Stampar. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Joseph Criss, who died in 2005.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday, November 1, 2024, followed by Funeral Services at 11:00 AM at Roberson Funeral Home Chapel, 2151 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, FL 33948. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte.
