Patricia M. Miller, 58, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2012 surrounded by her family at Fawcett Memorial Hospital Port Charlotte.
Patricia was born and raised March 9, 1954 in Dover, New Jersey and moved to Port Charlotte in 1998 from Rockaway Township, New Jersey. She graduated from Morris Catholic High School in Denville, NJ and William Patterson University in Wayne, NJ. Pat loved to ride motorcycles and was a member of the Women in the Wind Motorcycle Club, Sugar and Spice Chapter in New Jersey and a member of the Port Charlotte Women’s Club. Pat retired to Port Charlotte 12 years ago. She created beautiful stained glass artwork and was also a life master bridge player. She was the architect designer of her home in Port Charlotte.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Carl Miller; 2 daughters, Anna Curtis of Orlando, Fl and Victoria McShane of West Orange, NJ; 2 step-sons, Joseph Miller of Atlanta, GA and Andy Miller of Charleston, SC; her parents, Leo and Geraldine Frey of Port Charlotte; a brother, Leo Frey of Annandale, NJ; a sister, Jacqueline Smith of Windsor Locks, CT and her granddaughter, Abigail G. McShane.
Visitation will be held 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM with a wake service at 7:00PM, Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00AM, Monday, June 18, 2012 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Long Island, NY. In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made in Patricia Millers name to any charity of choice.
