Paul Louis Marrangoni, 80, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at his home in Port Charlotte.

Paul was born on September 30, 1945, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, to Louis and Mary Marrangoni. He was raised in Greenville, where he developed the values of hard work, service, faith, and family that guided him throughout his life.

On June 1, 1974, he married the love of his life, Christine Sylvia Mayberry. Together they shared more than 52 years of marriage and built a family he cherished.

Paul proudly served on active duty in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a Master of Business Administration. He went on to enjoy a long career with the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, D.C.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Christine Sylvia Marrangoni; his daughters, Mary Lou Swanhaus (Mike) and Paula Marrangoni Brady (Haven); his grandchildren, Daisy Swanhaus, Dillon Swanhaus, and Zara Brady; and his siblings, Adele Marrangoni and Claude Marrangoni.
