Raymond Bonnell, 96, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023, at his home in Port Charlotte.

Ray was born on Saturday, May 21, 1927, in Detroit, Michigan, one of three sons of the late Clifford and Mary Bonnell. He married his beloved wife Annie E. Bonnell at the age of 19 and went on to build a career as an Advanced Design Engineer for Chrysler.

He is survived by  his only son, Raymond J. Bonnell, along with grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was the pillar to the family and always put family first. He was loved so much by all, always a smile on his face and embraced our presence.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, from 5-7pm at Roberson Funeral Home port Charlotte Chapel, followed by the service and final goodbyes on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 11am. A brief Committal service will be at  Restlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Port Charlotte, Florida where Ray will be buried next to his loving wife Annie Elizabeth who passed away in February of 2012.
