Raymond P. Carnes, II, 56, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Thursday, April 9, 2015.
Raymond also known as Pete was born to Raymond and Helen Carnes on April 3, 1959 in Toledo, Ohio and moved to Port Charlotte in 1994 from Port St. Lucie, FL. Pete was the supervisor at Peace River Citrus Products in Arcadia, FL for many years. He enjoyed life to the fullest especially riding his motorcycle whenever he could. Pete loved his family and friends and will be missed greatly by all who loved and knew him.
Survivors include his loving wife of 12 years, Angelita; 3 sons, Raymond P. Carnes, III of Miami, FL, Adam Rios of Iowa and Jose Alonzo of Arcadia, FL; 4 daughters, Marlene Carnes of Toledo, OH, Hope Carnes of PC, Teza Miller and Alexis Alonzo both of Arcadia, FL; 4 sisters, Beccy (Don) Wick of Toledo, OH, Debbie (Frank) Sadowski of Perrysburg, OH, Kathy Wick of Port St. Lucie, FL and Cindy (Bob) Jennings of Tampa, FL; a brother, Jeff Carnes of Port St. Lucie, FL; 2 aunts, Shirley Reamer and Patsy Cervetto; 22 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM, Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel.
