Angel Harris left a message on February 27, 2021:
I'd like to send my heartfelt condolences to the family. Heaven has truly gained an angel. My 1998 high school graduation, would not have came into fruition, without the vital role(s) that were played by Mrs. Massolio and a few others. I'm forever grateful. Spread your wings, fly high, and watch over all of your loved ones. You'll always be in our hearts, Angel Harris

I graduated from Parkway Central with Renee back in 1987. I was in Concert and Swing Choirs with her. Renee was special. She was one of those people with popularity but she also was friendly to everyone, popular or not. I was a choir/drama nerd and definitely not popular. But our connection through choir meant I got to see her every day. My memories of her are good ones. And hearing of her passing on Nicole's FB page makes my heart hurt. She was too young, but she lived a lifetime of kindness. I sincerely hope Renee's family finds peace knowing she left so much goodness behind.

I am so deeply sorry Tom and family - my heart hurts for your loss. Ever since I came to Charlotte High, she was like a bright light - a shining star and such a positive force of energy. I don’t live there any longer as you know and had not seen her for quite a while - but she will always be a part of my happy memories of Charlotte high school. Again, my deepest sympathy and I am sending love and prayers to you and your family. The only way I can make any sense of such a loss is that God needed another angel to help Him. Blessings and love, Orchid

Although I have not worked with Renee for many years, as soon as my daughter contacted me about her passing, I immediately knew exactly of whom my daughter spoke. I worked in a classroom next to Renee for a few years, and her smile lit up our section of the campus. She had kind and a beautiful soul. I am sincerely sorry for her loss to all who knew her. I know she shines on in Heaven. Renee's family will be in my prayers.

Van & Donna, I have known Renee since she was in 2nd grade and I and her sister Nicole were in 4th. I am truly sad to hear about Renee. She had a truly innocent bubbly personality that was only Renee. Nicknamed her Eener for Renee spelled backwards. We spent a lot of time together at Manchester United Methodist Church before we all went our separate ways in life. A loss for all who knew her. Van and Donna you have had a wonderful daughter. Nicole, my deepest sympathies to you and what you are feeling at this time. To Renee's children, you had a mom full of life from the very beginning. To Tom, you found a wonderful wife. Kevin Holmes, from Rainey Lake Dr.
