Dick was a great friend! For 25 years he and I co-chaired the Garden City Kiwanis St. Pats Luncheon. For decades the key to a successful charity event was to ask Dick Hamber dor help. May he rest in peace, Pat, and may you and his children and his grandchildren revere and enjoy his good name and his good works forever. Fondest regards, Paul J. Fitzpatrick

Please accept our deepest condolances on the passing of Dick. He and Dionne were old friends from his years with the Long Island Trust Co. We spent several weekends with them and George and Norma Decker at The St. Moritz Hotel in NYC.WE were fellow members of the Garden City Golf Club as well as Kiwanis, where Dick was President. We also saw them at our home in Springs,East Hampton when they were at Gurneys' Inn in Montauk. He was a good person and will be missed by many. Fondly Ellen and Dick Williams
