Robert was born to Mathew and Ruth Culbert on June 29, 1929 in Arlington, Virginia and moved to Florida in 1979 from New Carrollton, MD. He was a member of B.P.O. Elks Lodge #2153 of Port Charlotte. Robert was a wonderful man who loved his family and spending time with friends. He will forever be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Survivors include his son, Robert A. (Darlene) Culbert, Jr.; his 3 daughters, Robin L. Sporrer of Deerfield Beach, FL, Barbara M. (Mike) Bausch of Gaithersburg, MD and Rebecca L. Finly of Punta Gorda, FL; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 3 nieces and 4 nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia L. Culbert and his son, Mathew C. Culbert.
A memorial mass will be held 11:00AM, Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Punta Gorda, FL. Inurnment will be held at a later date by the family.
