Robert Anthony Tull, Sr., 87, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.
Robert, better known as “Buz’, was born in Washington Grove, Maryland, on a Sunday, January 10, 1937, to the late Richard E. and Dorothy A. Tull. As a young man, Buz joined the United States Navy and proudly served his country. Some years later in his civilian life, Buz established his own business, Robert A. Tull Inc., a highly regarded and respected plumbing company in Montgomery County, Maryland. Buz was a news junkie, and when not taking in the news of the day, he enjoyed boating, Friday night movies, and an avid Golfer, golfing when ever he could. He was always quick to share a funny story, and had a laugh that will always be remembered along with a sparkle in his eye with every smile.
Buz leaves behind his loving wife Carole Tull, his children, Robert Anthony Jr. (wife Cheryl) Tull, and Tammy Tull; his step-children, Melvin (wife Tara) Faulconer, and Darlene Faulconer; grandchildren, Christy (husband Robert) Peterson, Robert J. Tull, Josh Faulconer, Ian Faulconer, and Riley Faulconer, as well as two beautiful great grandchildren. He also leaves behind siblings, Betty, Helen, Ed, Beverly, and Brenda. In addition to his parents, Buz was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother, Betty, Richard and Dottie.
Interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia, at a later date.
