He was born October 26, 1939 in Newark, New Jersey to the late William and Teresa Meyer and moved to Port Charlotte in 1999 from Matawan, NJ.
Robert is survived by his loving family, two sons, Robert J Meyer, wife Patti of Key West, Kenneth G. Meyer, wife Joann of Punta Gorda and his Five Grandchildren, Dillon, Shannon, Christopher, Robbie and Katelyn Meyer. Robert is preceded in death by his wife Lois, his daughter Kristen, and brother William.
Robert was an avid fisherman, proud member of the IBEW and member of the Charlotte County Chapter of the CCA. Arrangements by Roberson Funeral Home & Crematory Port Charlotte Chapel.
