Born Robert Dale Pfister on August 16, 1928 in Canton, Ohio to the late Leander and Mabel Pfister, Bob, a retired sales representative and member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Club of Canton, Ohio, relocated with his wife Frances L. (nee-Hale) Pfister, from his native Ohio to Punta Gorda in 2005.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Frances; daughter Paula D. (husband Thomas) Miller; son David (wife Dawn) Pfister; and five grandsons, Jeremy, Justin, Thomas, Sidney and Joshua.
