Roberta Michele Gregorchik, 82, of Port Charlotte, Florida went to be with our heavenly Father on Monday, November 4, 2024 in Port Charlotte.
The former Roberta Bedingfield was born October 31, 1942, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Grace Bedingfield in New York City, NY. Roberta graduated from St. Francis College in Loretto, PA in 1964, where she met the love of her life, Lawrence J Gregorchik to whom, she married October 9th, 1965. Roberta loved her career as a teacher in Salisbury, MA until retirement. She loved traveling and spending time in the ocean with her beloved husband. When not traveling, she loved reading and relaxing on their boat on the gulf. One thing that everyone will agree to is that Roberta loved to cook, and we all looked forward to her meals, as she was the best cook in the family. Roberta was a wonderful and spirited woman who loved life to the fullest and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Lawrence, and her son Christopher Gregorchik (Kira) of Louisville, KY, her granddaughters, Savannah Gregorchik- Menendez (Edgar) of Dayton, OH and Vanessa Gregorchik, (Michael) of Boston, MA and Anna and Madeline Broyard of Carlisle, MA, and a host of nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, and brother and sister in laws. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Grace, her sisters, Penelope Bedingfield Silverman, and Thomasina Bedingfield. Her daughter, Michele Gregorchik Broyard also proceeded her in death.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00AM, Monday, November 11, 2024 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. Inurnment will be held at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church Memorial Garden in Port Charlotte.
