Roman Slipatchuk, 75, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023, at ShorePoint Health hospital of Port Charlotte, Florida.
Roman was born on August 19, 1947, in Munich, Germany, to parents Nikolai and Anna (Ivanova) Slipatchuk, who were native Ukrainians. Roman a longtime resident of Punta Gorda, was a well known and respected businessman in the local community, and a member of the New Day Christian Church in Port Charlotte.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Elena Slipatchuk, and numerous extended family members and friends.
A gathering and Memorial service celebrating Roman’s life will be held this Saturday, June 24th, 2023, at Roberson Funeral Homes Punta Gorda Chapel located at 215 Mary Street in Punta Gorda. The gathering will begin at 3 pm, with service at 4 pm, and conclude at 5 pm.
