I am so very sorry to have discovered this sad news about Rosa. I tried to phone her today to no avail. I am a week too late. I was Rosa's new Canadian Neighbour down the street on Copiapo Circle. I met her Brother and wife very quickly a few years ago when she went back to Puerto Rico and I thought I would never see her again. she had given me a prayer rug and another... I for some reason did not take them to Canada that year with me and low and behold a year later Rosa was back and I was able to return her rugs! It was meant. We would lunch occasionally and then a quick visit to my house. Rosa was such an elegant and lovely lady. I will miss her when I snowbird back to Florida. That pink house down the street f will always be Rosa's house to me! Last I saw Rosa was last spring as she was being released from the Rehab Centre . I wasn't able to see her after that because of Covid. I had dropped off a little gift but they would not let me personally deliver and then I & my husband suddenly had to go back to Canada & don't know when we will get back. I had just remembered that I missed her birthday & had not talked to her since the spring and hence I have found all this out. My deepest condolences to her family; may she rest in peace. I was so lucky to have met Rosa and share some time with her. She will be missed. Deepest Regards Heather

Enjoyed Rosa very much. She liked the cross stitch pictures I made for her. I had one more for this year’s birthday but she passed before I could give it to her. I’ll always remember her. Very interesting to visit with. She really tried to stay healthy with her daily walks.

Henry & I were so fortunate to live next to Rosa for the 3 years we have been here at SPS. She was a wonderful lady who loved her orchids and needlework and her garden. We in the garden club as well as her neighbors on the 3rd floor will treasure her memory.
