ROSEY DENNIS WILLIAMS, 59, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away, Monday July 24, 2006 in Port Charlotte.
She was born March 6, 1947 in East Liverpool, Ohio and moved here16 years ago
from Chester, West Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Elizabeth (Tootsie) Cain and Franklin Haught.
Rosey worked for 26 years as an on air personality. She started on the radio in
1980 on WOHI in East Liverpool, Ohio. She joined the Clear Channel family working
on WKII (1070 AM) for over ten years. She was the president of the (Save The Teapot)
committee in which she saved the world’s largest teapot located in Chester, West Virginia. She loved reading, playing her Yahtzee game and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed life, laughter and many adventures with her children and
grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving family, a son, Mike (Lisa) Dennis of Port Charlotte;
a daughter, Karie Dennis (John) Bishop of Punta Gorda, FL; a sister, Karen (Matt) Stipec
of East Liverpool, OH; two brothers, Charles Henderson of Belle Vernon, PA and
Bill (Lynda) Maxwell of Pittsburgh, PA; four grandchildren, Aaron and Zachary
Bishop of Punta Gorda and Mia and Malia Dennis of Port Charlotte; a niece, Suzanne
(Brandon) Hoppel; seven nephews, Matt (Rhonda) Stipec, Tim (Kim) Stipec, Gus Henderson, Clayton (Kerri) Henderson, Billy Maxwell, Tommy Maxwell, and Danny
Maxwell; and several great nephews and great nieces; Rosey will be greatly missed by
her loving family and her dear friends, Carol DiMauro, Mary Ann and Larry Russell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery
Allen Dennis and her stepfather, Detmer Cain.
