Sandy, Fred and James...You have my deepest sympathy for the loss of your great Dad. I am the daughter of Margaret Brown from Owensville. Her mother Katie Waters was the sister of Clarence Manning. So your grandma Ida was my great aunt. C.A., Phyllis and Jerry are cousins. I have known your Dad all my life through this connection. I always loved going to the furniture store to visit with Mom when we were in Princeton. I remember seeing Sandy a lot there. I loved your Mom Ada Mae. After I graduated and started working in Princeton at the Credit Bureau, I became good friends with Delores McRoberts Harrington. We are still best friends. So unusual that we were both connected with your Mom and Dad. Was it you Fred that we ran into at the yogurt place in front of Sam's Club last year in Evansvlle? Dee always showed me the pictures of the McRoberts reunion every year. It was always good to see that Royce was there except for this past year. I read the article of his involvement in all the different things there in Florida. He was a good man and I know you will all miss him very much.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

My prayers are with the Family, I first met Royce in the Princeton, In. Lions club, and followed him as President of the club. I became his Prudential Insurance representative in 70s. I went to school with his children, and his grand children went to school with my children. I admired him, and he was a mentor to me in a lot of ways. I am sure he will be missed very much by his family, as well as his many friends. REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND! Lowell W, (Herb) Burch

My condolences to Sandy and the other members of Royce's family. Royce was a real friend to all, and we will miss him greatly. He loved the sport of bowling and we bowled together for years. When you hear those rumbling noises from on high, you will know that Royce is sending his ball down those Heavenly Lanes making another strike.

At this time I'd like to share my thoughts that tears cleanse and good memories heal. He was dearly loved, a very special man to his family and the community.
