Robert & Elizabeth Hardy left a message on June 23, 2010:
Wayne and the loving family of Ruth Smith: Elizabeth and I want to extend to you our most sincere condolences for the loss of your companion and mother. We came to know Ruth as the Wednesday drivers for meals-on-wheels. Through those brief encounters we quickly came to know Ruth as a truly lovely person whose quick smile and gentle manner brought out the best in others. She often shared with us her love and mastery of needle point. She always mentioned that each finished piece was for one of her beloved children or grand children. Although we did not have the privilege of knowing Ruth for a very long time, she truly added a bright spot to our lives and we shall always remember her.
