On Saturday, November 10, 2018, Sabra E. Wilburn of North Port, Florida, with her family at her side, was called home to be with The Lord, at the age of 80.
Sabra was born on March 4, 1938 in Vidalia, GA to the late William Elton and Veatrice (Hutto) Williamson. She graduated North Miami High School, in Miami, Florida and owned an Antique & Jewelry business for 29 years. On January 18, 1957 she married the love of her life, Floyd Wilburn. They raised two daughters, Jodi and Kelly in Fort Lauderdale, Florida before retiring and moving to North Port, Florida in 2005.
She loved staying active and enjoyed boating, water skiing, and bowling, but spending time with her family was what she cherished most. Her home was always open for family and friends to drop by where love, laughter, and a great meal was always waiting for those who entered. She dedicated her life to her family and had a special gift of touching those around her in a deep and meaningful way.
Left to honor Sabra and remember her love are her husband of 61 years, Floyd Wilburn; two daughters Jodi (Lee) Bowen and Kelly (Tank) Drawdy; three sisters, Catherine Langley, Nell Ezzell, and Dottie Spreaker; two grandsons, Tyler Smith and Ashton Smith; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are welcome to attend the Memorial Service, on Saturday 11:00 AM, November 17, 2018 at Lakewood Ranch Baptist Church, 5600 Deer Drive, Sarasota, Florida, 34240. Private interment will be at Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, Florida.
