Sandra L. McLeod, 72, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Monday, February 22, 2010 at her
residence.
She was born August 12, 1937 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and moved to Florida
in 1951. She was a registered nurse for over forty years at Bon-Secours St. Joseph Hospital in Port Charlotte and a member of Berean Baptist Church of Port Charlotte. Sandra was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who will be missed very much, but not forgotten.
Survived by four daughters, Lori McLeod of Port Charlotte, Kim Richardson of Tampa, FL, Amy Beisner of Port Charlotte and Heather Guck of North Port, FL; four sons, Matthew McLeod of New York, NY, Adam McLeod of North Port, FL, Todd McLeod of Port Charlotte and Dan McLeod of Maine; Twenty three grandchildren and five of great grandchildren. Death by her daughter, Tambra McLeod in 1970.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Funeral services will follow Thursday 11:00 AM February 25, 2010 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Rev. Fred Cowardin of Berean Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte.
