Sheila Ann Freed, age 66, was born and raised in Trotwood Ohio and graduated from Trotwood Madison High School class of 1975, retired from Cox Enterprises and was enjoying her retirement at her homes in Port Charlotte, Florida and Union, Ohio.
Sheila was a huge fan of Jimmy Buffett, the OSU Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns football and reality TV shows but especially Survivor, Big Brother and the Real Housewives of literally anywhere.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Ruby Tankersley, her son-in-law Paul Eversole and her beloved cat Pansy and was survived by her husband of 31 years Randy, daughter Lauren Eversole (Frank Crump), brother James Tankersley (Jackie Bloom) and the lights of her life, her three grandchildren Penny Eversole, Kim Eversole and James Eversole. Family and friends will celebrate Sheila’s life in separate services in Florida and Ohio on dates to be determined.
Sheila would want to be remembered by and pass on her life’s motto, a quote from the Bob Marley song Three Little Birds that states, “Don’t worry ‘bout a thing, ‘Cause every little thing is gonna be all right.”
