Anthony “Tony” Wayne Gromalski Sr., 67, of Nokomis, Florida, went on to meet his reward on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, in Sarasota, Florida due to health issues.
Born on January 28, 1959, in the borough of Brooklyn in New York City, New York, to the late Joseph W. and Frances Ann (Walden) Gromalski, Anthony following graduation from high school, joined the U.S. Marine Corp. serving our country with pride and honor for 22 years until his retirement from military life with the non-com rank of Staff Sergeant. While in the military, he and his beloved wife Ana E. (Elias) Gromalski, raised two sons, Anthony and Nathaniel. Tony and Ana eventually relocated to Southwest Florida, becoming active members of the community, and continued to serve the Lord with their church, the El-Bethel Apostolic Tabernacle in North Port, Florida, where he could often be heard to say “Well Glory”. He was characterized by many as unconditionally loving, selfless, giving, principled, and a captivating storyteller, with a great sense of humor.
Tony is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 43 years, Ana E. Gromalski, his two sons Anthony M. Gromalski and Nathaniel W. Gromalski; siblings Frances, Jose, Alan, Richard, and Carol, and numerous extended family members.
Visitation and services with military honors will be held beginning at 10:00 AM with services starting at 11:00 AM, this Saturday, October 31, 2026, at El-Bethel Apostolic Tabernacle located at 4818 S. Chamberlin Blvd in North Port. A private cremation will follow.
