Stormy Ann Martin, 66, of Babcock Ranch, Florida, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, February 19, 2024.
Stormy was born on a Friday, April 12, 1957, in Salem, Missouri, one of eight children to Forrest and Leota Woodruff. Born into a large and loving family, Stormy went on to earn an Associates degree following graduation from high school, and enjoyed a successful career with a well known Southwest Florida law firm. A working wife and mother, Stormy worked as the office manager for a respected law firm closely working with Florida’s state department. A resident of Southwest Florida for 37 years, Stormy and her husband Jack Harold Martin, moved to Babcock Ranch in 2020. When not working, Stormy enjoyed going on cruises, fishing, going to the beach, and just spending time with her family. Favorite family memories of Stormy are the times she spent with her family during Thanksgiving and Christmas. She loved seeing her family gathered together in love and joy during the holidays. Recently, she was fulfilled with the addition of her great granddaughter, Carson.
Stormy was preceded in death by her parents Forrest and Leota, a sister Debbie, and a brother Michael. She is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years, Harold, her daughters Lisa, Katherine, Jessica, and Melissa; her grandchildren Aaron, Sara, Courtney, Trenton, Kyle, Eli, and Ariel; and her great granddaughter, Carson; she is also survived by her five sisters and brothers Sandy, Carla, Kim, JD, and Ernie, as well as many extended family members and friends.
