Susan was a positive force in the world and I will miss her. When she first moved to Florida as a snowbird, I was delighted to introduce her to her new area. I shared my newspaper with her and she shared books, movies, and her culinary talents with me. We had shopping adventures, wonderful dining experiences, and laughingly solved the world's problems in many gab sessions. She had an elegant sense of style and oh, those hats! Loved her hats. Life was narrow for her at the end. Her love and positivity and intellectual curiosity never narrowed. My heart goes out to her family.

My heart felt condolences go out to the Kozak and Olbrych families, especially to Joseph, Olivia, Stephen, and Robert. I have known Susan even before I got to know her brother Stephen , who later would become one of my best friends ever, as Susan entered my 4th grade classroom at Glickman where I remember the teacher there introducing Susan to our class that day. We both lived on Maebeth St. where the Olbrych’s had recently moved to that year. We’d walk home from school occasionally and she was so lovely I remember and even laughed at my jokes. I remember her being there when my ball went into a sewer on Maebeth and I lifted the cover to retrieve it only to catch my fingers on the cover when I put it back. Susan would later go to Tech High while I went to Classical, so we sort of lost touch, doing our own things, so to speak. It was a blessing to have known Susan and to be at least a small part in her life. God bless and may you rest in peace ✝️
