Grandma aka My Pretty Lady you were fabulous, bold, radiant, unstoppable. Your elegance radiated from the inside out. Always so stylish, with your signature hats. You made fashion look effortless. You brought joy everywhere you went. You were my safe place, my partner in dance and laughter. Oh, the dance parties we had! I am still honored to be the one who helped create fabulous birthday magic for you. Planning each celebration was my love letter to you. I wanted you to feel like the queen you were celebrated, cherished, and adored. Because that’s how you made me feel every single day. Your love lives in every beat of my heart. Your spirit still whispers to me when I need comfort, still dances with me when I hear your favorite songs. Especially when I hear your entrance music “Girl on Fire” by Alicia Keys. Thank you for being my everything strong, glamorous, gentle, and full of joy. I miss you more than words can hold, but I carry you with me in all that I do. Forever Dee Dee Darlin’

Whenever I was around Aunty, I felt honored and privileged to be in her presence. Aunty made you feel like you were the most important person in the room with her care, compassion, love, and her poignant words of wisdom. Although Aunty was small in statue, she would fill any space with the enormity of her personality and with her infectious laughter. To know Aunty is to know greatness, and I am ever more a better human because she was a part of our lives🤍🤍 Rest now our dear Aunty Sybil. You fought the good fight, you finished the race, and you kept the faith. Eternal rest grant unto Aunty, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace.🕊️🕊️

I am greatful for the time spent with my loving tanty Yucklyn. I grew up calling her Aunty but she is my grandmother lil sister. My mom Merina would always carry Junior and I to Aunty Yucklyn house in Brooklyn to share food with family and friends. Aunty also invited us to her church programs. I will especially remember the sweet way she called my name. I always knew my aunt loved and cared for me. I will keep close our memories, like DisneyLand. My dad, Denny and son Nicholas will also miss Aunty Yucklyn very much. My brother Junior is greatful for the love she gave us unconditionally. We will miss you Aunty. Thank you for your unconditional love. Treets

Our beloved Mother/Sister Sybil Geoffroy was close to our hearts , since we met , over thirty-four years . ago.. She and her husband were the life of the party when we had outings and church conventions. They always had their tambourines and enjoyed lively singing.. Even when her health was deteriorating she was determined to attend church services and other events faithfully.. Our son Philip , never forget the over night trip to the Port Charlotte , UEMO church in the 1990 ‘s .Mother Geoffroy served the youths special breakfast of delicious fried dumplings . Rest in peace beloved Mother/ Sister Geoffroy safe in the arms of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.. We love you but Jesus Christ love you more. 🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️

We’re sending prayers of healing out to family and loved ones. Ms. Sybil generously leaves a little piece of herself with every single one of us. She fought life’s daily battles with grace and gratitude. She “thanked her problems away”. If she was sick, she thanked God for her health. Imagine that kind of gratitude. See why it’s so easy to learn from her? It’s no wonder how someone that lives 1100 miles away always managed to make her way into my prayers. Ever since my twins and I met Ms. Sybil about 14 years ago, her small stature loomed so LARGE in our eyes. When she gave you that little grin, you immediately felt her warm and welcoming spirit. She made direct eye contact with you, which made the connection even stronger. I can’t swear by it, but she could probably see right through you. Smile. What a lovely, uplifting vessel of positivity she was! We only stand to gain by keeping keep her close. Big Love, Victoria, Diana & Jeff McCready
